#271: Client-Centered Law Firms, with Jack Newton
This is an educational program, not a professional training program, emphasizing the political, social, cultural, and philosophical foundations and impacts of regulation and legal systems. It is designed for pre-law college students and likewise for a broad array of students from across the PSU campus who’re fascinated in the relationship of regulation to politics, society, and tradition. While the core courses consider American regulation and the American authorized system, the electives permit college students to focus on elements of legislation associated to areas corresponding to international legislation, comparative law, and philosophy. We struggle for racial justice within the courts and in our communities via outreach, education, and authorized representation. The Legal Aid Society works all through New York City to make sure everyone has entry to justice.
